Hello Wicked Lovers! Its December, the month of festivities, cheer and joy. With the perfect season to celebrate the joy with your loved ones, why not dine at a place that not only serves good food but a good experience as well. It has been a great culinary ride across the year where I visited some of the most amazing restaurants Mumbai has to offer. I have listed below my favorite restaurants I loved dining at and hope you check them too if you are looking for a great meal with your other gluttony half.

Jia-The Oriental Kitchen: 2017 was a year ode to different cuisines and one Fabulous restaurant I visited was Jia – The Oriental Kitchen. A couple of minutes away from the Gateway of India, Colaba, you’ll find this wonderful restaurant. With Contemporary décor and cozy ambience, it is apt for a Date night. Jia is a modern oriental kitchen serving gourmet Asian cuisine. If the vast Ala carte menu leaves you troubled to choose from, pick the Set menu which comes in an Eight or Twelve course menu. From delicious Dimsums to Scrumptious Sushi, the delicacies served here are things of beauty. Must try Crab meat dimsum, Duck Salad, Soft-shell Crab.

Olive Bar & Kitchen: Olive reopened with a swanky new look, where Chef Rishim whips up some amazing delicacies using the freshest ingredients from their own kitchen garden. Extremely popular with young hipsters, this place comes to life on evenings and weekends. Looking for an ideal Sunday brunch? this restaurant comes highly recommended.

Must Try: English Muffin with smoked creamy sauce & cocoa nibs, Chicken Donuts, Red Velvet cupcake Fried Chicken And Organic Dark chocolate waffles.

Psst: Celeb Spotting is common here, so don’t get stunned if you see a BTown Celeb brunching at the next table 😛

Weekend brunch in mumbai

Romano’s: The in-house restaurant at JW Sahar is known for its authentic Italian fare. From Naple’s infamous Margehrita Pizza to Comforting gnocchi in Bolognese sauce, the amazing spread left us craving for more. This is one fine dine you need to reserve for an absolutely special occasion. Romanos has recently started “Pranzo” (Meal in Italian) for a Family Meal on the weekend with their special menu serving some of their star dishes.

Must Try: Mushroom Brushcetta, Margehrita Pizza, Meat Balls and Spaghetti.

The Benedict Bistro: If all day cafés and bistros are your thing, then this one should be at the top of your list. “It happened in New York” christened to “The Benedict Bistro” is a charming café located opp Starbucks on Chapel Road, Bandra. Spend Boozy Saturdays here with their incredible drinks menu featuring a whole host of trendy concoctions and New York styled desserts. Or just lounge in on a Sunday morning and try their delicious food spread.

Must Try: Smoked Salmon egg benedict, Cereal bowls, Nutella Pancakes.

Taftoon: You love fuss free food with no fancy names or visual gigs? Head to Taftoon, which means leavened flour Bread, a new entrant at the food hub of BKC. The ambiance is tastefully done with the main focus purely on food. It serves rare delicacies from the oldest route of Asia, the Grand Trunk road aka NH1 highway. From Kolkata to Kabul, this is one culinary ride you need to take.
