\nwhere I have dozens of dishes this was my first visit to a caf\u00e9 popular among
\nthe suits to get their daily lunch. <\/div>\n

\nKaboom is a fast food joint or as the
\nname suggests \u201cCasual food\u201d joint, located at Ballard estate, Fort. Drawing inspiration from the 80\u2019s, the entire
\nd\u00e9cor of Kaboom oozes vintage. Sewing machine stands, Milk Cans and parts of
\nshaadiwale pankhe form a good part of the furniture. From the old school
\nfolding wooden party chairs to big round flip switches to suspended ceiling
\nfans, found these days only in government buildings, Kaboom is a step back in
\ntime.<\/div>\n

\nWith a watchful eye on the
\nenvironment, this eccentric caf\u00e9 opts for eco-friendly biodegradable cutlery.
\nNo artificial inks are used on the cutlery or paper napkins.<\/div>\n

\nThe cream walls bare the daily
\nrotating menu, a unique feature of this place. It ensures you walk in to a
\ncompletely new food experience every single day. Now, ain\u2019t this interesting,
\nthat you walk in everyday to a different cuisine. <\/div>\n

\nYohaan Dattoobhai<\/b>, armed with a global
\nresume, had initially chalked up the thought of launching his own food truck.
\nHowever, licensing issues quickly screeched all his ideas to an abrupt halt.
\nKeen on setting up an eatery that would serve delicious \u201con the go\u201d food,
\nKaboom was born. Unlike fast food joints, the ingredients in the wholesome food
\nprepared here are sourced directly from local farms, eliminating the middlemen.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\nBeing a Monday \u2013Chinese day, I called
\nfor a Combo meal consisting of Kung pao Chicken noodles, Chilly dim sums, Onion
\nPancake & Broccoli salad.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n

\nFrom the dim sum layers to the inner
\nstuffing and the sauces, entirely made in house, the cotton-like soft dim sums
\nwere just wiped off the face of the plate.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\nThe light Onion Pan Cake was semi
\nbaked & semi pan fried, a healthy cooking method, making it non greasy especially
\nfor those diet conscious souls.<\/div>\n

\nA fresh colorful Broccoli Salad with
\na sweet and sour dressing was peppered with chili sauce to add a hint of
\nspiciness to the fresh crunchy vegetables, hitting the right spots. <\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\nKung Pao Chicken Noodles boasted of
\nwell-prepared noodles mixed with chunky chicken bits & saut\u00e9ed cashews.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\nWe decided to close out with a
\nCappuccino & Nutella Toasties. The bitterness of the Cappuccino overpowered
\nthe crispy Nutella-splashed toast bits.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\nA light and easy on the pocket meal,
\nKaboom is a healthy option especially when freshness and authenticity are
\ndeciding factors.<\/p>\n
\nTrue to its word, Kaboom serves
\nauthentic and light food to keep you fresh even after a proper meal ensuring
\nyou do not dose off at your work place.<\/div>\n
\nThe only downside to Kaboom is that
\nthey are functional only on weekdays from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm i.e. breakfast,
\nlunch and an early evening snack; due to the surrounding premises. <\/div>\n

\n<\/div>\n
\nIf you do happen to drive by around
\nBallard estates or need to have a quick bite without letting the laziness kick
\nin, you know where you can have a hearty meal!<\/div>\n
